What do you do at Opticare?

I'm the Newark Practice Manager - I started at Opticare as an Optical Assistant at the end of 2021.

Do you wear glasses or contact lenses yourself?

Yes, I wear glasses. I like that they can be fashionable, but more importantly correct my vision. I love the classic Ray Ban style, but the new Tom Ford frames are great too!

What does a typical day at Opticare look like?

I greet patients, book appointments, check on orders in the lab - there is always something new to learn everyday.

Tell us a little bit more about yourself

I enjoy going to the cinema and spending time with friends and family - Amélie is my favourite film, It’s joyful and fun and the best comfort film. I also love visiting Scotland, it’s perfect for road trips!
